Our international operation is primarily to Africa.

With the world’s skyrocketing gas and electricity costs, people are turning to solar power to save money as energy costs climb year after year.  Solar energy is one of the fastest growing sources of alternative energy today; it is eco-friendly, sustainable, clean, and above all a free alternative to the current energy crisis we are experiencing.

Solar energy is radiant energy that is produced by the sun.  Africa as a continent has tremendous solar energy capabilities due to the proximity of most of its land mass to the equator. At that latitude, most of Africa will have 325 days of strong sunlight.  Additionally, Africa's estimated petroleum reserves of 60 billion barrels are insufficient to supply the entire population of the continent in the long run.  Even though solar energy is still undergoing a developmental stage in Africa, the use of solar power in these regions will most likely initiate a certain resource boom.  Solar Systems Unlimited (SSU) understand these challenges, and we are committed to bringing solar technology to the continent.

Solar Systems Unlimited is a sales, marketing, consulting, installation, system design, wholesale distributor of solar power systems (stand alone, grid-tie, grid-tie with batter backups), and solar water pumping.    From conception to design and installation, we make the sometimes cumbersome process of adopting solar energy technology a pleasant and rewarding experience.  Energy from the sun is a bright idea whose time has come.  Our mission is to make solar power the workhorse of Africa’s energy production, and in the process we intend to accomplish that one installation at a time.
